A Florida native, I have grown up visiting Walt Disney World. I was very lucky to have the Happiest Place in the World only a few hours away. I loved visiting as a kid but it turned from a “vacation” to a passion during my adult years.

Season passholders, my husband and I lived close enough to Disney property, that we were able to take trips several times a month. We stayed passholders until the Navy required us to move to California in 2016. The next year brought the birth of a baby girl and in 2018, another move across the country, this time to Virginia, where we currently reside.

In April of 2018, shortly after settling into our new home, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 33. My diagnosis turned our world upside down. I had a double mastectomy, reconstruction, and 16 rounds of chemo all while balancing life with
a one-year old and a deployed husband. My journey with cancer has taught me to look at life with a new perspective. With the support of my family, I reevaluated what I wanted to do with my career. A certified teacher, I knew teaching was not my true passion.

My love was, and has always been, with anything and everything related to Disney, especially experiencing the joy of visiting the Disney Parks. While I have always enjoyed the movies and music, my passion stems from the behind-the-scenes secrets that make the parks truly magical. My friends and family consider me their go-to person when it comes to Disney World. I love helping others plan their vacation, giving them secrets to maximize their trip. For me, a trip to Disney is magical, bringing new experiences and memories each time. I enjoy every minute that I am there and consider it my “Happy Place.” I want others to feel the same excitement that runs through my veins when I think about Disney. I want others to walk through the gate and feel as if they are home.

As a Navy wife, my husband’s career has been our life force. I know that for the time being I cannot work at the physical location of Walt Disney World, so I found another way to share my love and knowledge. While I am not working on Offstage WDW, I love to spend time with my family, eat ice cream, read, play Dungeons and Dragons, and do yoga!
