Giving gifts to my loved ones is one of my FAVORITE things to do anytime of the year, but especially during the holidays and it’s even better when I can add a touch of Disney to their gift!
Are you having a hard time finding a gift this Holiday season?! Look no further! Here are some suggestions of some Disney gifts that would be great for various ages. I have a pretty large family, ages ranging from 0 to adults, so I know how hard is it to find the perfect gift, especially when there are so many ages to buy for!
These gifts are ones that I personally thought were cute and would buy for my loved ones. When finding gifts, I try to find things that are developmentally appropriate, educational and FUN! We are not affiliated with any of these companies or with Amazon; I just happened to find these items on Amazon since it it usually my go-to online shopping spot. The links are provided with each item. Enjoy!
Newborn to 6 months old
During the new days and early months, toys that stimulate a baby’s senses are best. “Playing is a great way for parents and caregivers to build that vital bond with their baby, while sensory stimulations helps baby’s brain grow.” (1) Soft toys that make gentle sounds or textured toys that are safe to teethe on are great. Books are also fantastic at any age; it’s never to early to read to your little one!

Kids Ages 5-8 years
School age children are much more independent and and still need to be challenged. They need to be given opportunities for pretend play and to use their imaginations. Providing games that require higher level thinking and strategy are best! Also, toys that require building are still so good for this age, along with things that allow them to be creative.

Preteens can be tricky, they are still interested in toys, yet some are starting to outgrow play things and look for more challenging and intriguing things to play. They still need to be challenged and given something technology free! Board games are ideal for this age, the whole family can even get in on the fun. So many skills are used and built during board game play.

In my opinion, teenagers may be the most difficult to buy for. Most often they are influenced by the latest trends and want the latest and hottest electronics, but after finding out their hobbies or interests and getting creative, it’s not as hard you would think.
