Hollywood Boulevard- Setting the Stage

From the moment you walk up to the gate, you are transported back in time. The entryway is based off of the Pan Pacific Auditorium which was located in Hollywood before it was destroyed in a fire in 1989.

Inside the entryway, a replica of The Crossroads of the World, built in 1936 and considered the first modern shopping mall, can be found (but with a Disney touch).

Hollywood Boulevard is the studios’ Mainstreet, U.S.A. It set’s the stage for entry into the park, and brings guests back to the 30’s when Hollywood was the embodiment of glamour and entertainment. During the 30s and the Great Depression, movies became an escape for the harsh realities of day to day life. Despite the economic trials, the film industry flourished. Hollywood was portrayed and envisioned as the land of opportunities! That is why Hollywood Boulevard is the starting point for all guests. The Boulevard is brimming with excitement and and vibrancy of The Golden Age. It represents all the good memories of that time and gives promise of the memories that guests will build with their families while visiting the park. ❤️Tara
