Can you believe it’s February already?! It’s the first Monday of the month so here is our Offstage WDW Book Recommendation! A few weeks ago my son won this book in a school raffle and we couldn’t be happier! We obviously LOVE Disney so we were thrilled to be gifted this book! It’s a fun read and exciting to hear the stories that Mama Hook told her son as he grew up! We think you will enjoy it too!
Today our very own Offstage WDW blog author, Tara, shares her magical moment when she took her then, 7 month old baby girl, Riley, to Disneyland! Tara and her husband, Robert were stationed in California and didn’t know when they would have the opportunity to visit Disneyland in the future, so they took sometime to visit and it was the BEST! If you didn’t know already, Tara is the BIGGEST Disney fanatic. Her love of all things Disney is contagious, so when she was able to bring Riley to meet Mickey is was everything. Take a look at these pictures. You can see and feel the joy and magic from that day! What a magical moment!
There is something magical about a good book–and that is why on the First Monday of each month we decided to start sharing an Offstage WDW Book Recommendation!📚 First up is a book that Tara was gifted for Christmas from her mom! It was the perfect book for her Disney collection highlighting the Disney Posters that you see as you enter Disney parks! Magical moments can be created in so many ways. Have you ever sat and listened to a story or read a good book?! Books bring you to places you have never been and take you on the most amazing adventures–and that right there is magical! At the start of the pandemic, Disney began an online storytime with Disney stories read by your some of your favorite actors & actresses. You are never too old to listen to a good book, especially when it’s being read by Bill Farmer–the voice of Goofy and you get to hear him voice Goofy while he is reading you a story!!
Give Kids the Workd is a non-profit organization bringing joy, happiness and creating sweet memories for families with children with Critical illnesses. The Give Kids the World Village is a resort with on site attractions and rides! This holiday season, Disney sprinkled some magic and helped to light up Give Kids the World Village by donating 3 million lights! Disney was a founding partner and will celebrate 35 years with GKTW. Also it is the #1 place that Disney voluntEARS their time! The village is covered in the most spectacular light display! For the first time ever, GKTW is opening to the public to walk though to marvel at the beautiful holiday display!
Take a look at this sweet story, when not just one, but two princesses made this little girl’s day! It’s so amazing when characters are able to take extra time with guests to make their visit even more memorable!
It’s so magical to meet your favorite character when you visit the parks, BUT what if you were able to meet over 25 characters all at the same time!! It might be a bit overwhelming but oh, so magical! This family had an experience of a lifetime when a family friend set up a meet and greet before a parade one day! You can view the whole video here! The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique already adds magic to any little girl’s day, but imagine seeing the princess right before your eyes! This little girl got the biggest surprise when Cinderella walked by just as she was finishing her time at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Cinderella took her hand and they went to the wishing well to make the best and biggest wish ever! What a magical moment for this little girl!
Halloween is over now so we can start thinking Christmas right?! lol Check out our magical moment from a few Christmas mornings ago! It was one of my favorite!I’ll forever cherish our time together and the memories we made!

Magical Moments aren’t always created by cast members or by the characters at the Disney Parks; family, friends, and loved ones help to create their own Disney magical moments!! This family was coming home from a 4-day DISNEY cruise and these parents has one more special surprise in store for their kids! IT certainly made for a very magical moment!!
Finding out you are expecting is the biggest news of your life! This couple created a very magical and memorable gender reveal. They met with many characters during their visit to the parks and asked them to take a guess whether the baby would be a boy or a girl. Magical Monday is here to bring some tears to your eyes lol, but of course, only happy tears! This story is so sweet. This family was able to get Mickey’s help to bing their foster children the most exciting and life-changing news–their ADOPTION WAS FINAL! We read this story and melted. This sweet mom gave us permission to share her story that has been circulating the internet. Losing a loved one is a very hard thing, especially for a child. Once this Cast Member heard about the girls’ pop pop, she made sure to help ease their sadness just a little bit. This is not in a Cast Member’s job description; it truly is amazing to see how some people want to go above and beyond. This act of kindness will always be remembered by this family ♥️

I love this story of a Cast Member going ABOVE and BEYOND for a guest and his family. Every time I read this story, I am amazed at the generosity and thoughtfulness of these cast members.
The Plaza Restaurant at Disney’s Magic Kingdom is the perfect spot to grab lunch! Located next to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, guests can get a nice view of the castle while enjoying their meal! During lunchtime the Mayor of Magic Kingdom makes his way to the Plaza restaurant to make one guest’s day extra special. Check out what happened to Rachel!
